Technique: Quilt-As-You-Go Construction
Length: Half-Day
Create a stylish cosmetic bag while learning the magic of quilt-as-you-go construction! Students will quilt their fabric as they sew, eliminating the need to quilt a finished project later. Along the way, they'll master zipper installation and professional finishing methods to create a bag that's as practical as it is beautiful. Perfect for gifts—or keeping for yourself!
Supplies needed:
*Sewing Machine
General sewing notions (scissors, seam ripper, marking pen, sewing pins (clips will not work well for this method).
Required Kits will be provided for $20 each (this fee has been added to your ticket price below). Kits include fabric, batting, lining, zipper, and a zipper pull. A variety to choose from will be provided. Students will also receive a printed pattern to take home.
Sewing Machines must be brought with you to class. Machines will NOT be provided in class.
