(SOLD OUT) Thread Painting for Beginners-NE Ohio

Join Kathy Wolf for an introduction to Thread Painting- a great technique for beginners to free motion quilting! Students will complete a small notecard during class and get started on a larger panel which can be turned into a wallhanging or placemat.

No Kit Fee: instructor will provide fabric, batting, and the note cards.

Class Supplies Needed:

-threads (a variety of colors…..variegated works great with this technique)

-ruler  

-rotary cutter 

-scissors

-cutting mat

-glue stick 

-1 yard each of muslin and batting (I use Warm and Natural but you can use your favorite) 

-and a small panel to get started for more practice (I do have a small supply of some panels available)

Sewing machines will be generously provided by Chestnut Ridge Sewing
