[SOLD OUT] Point the Way – A Paper Piecing Primer Quilt-NE Ohio

Returning by popular demand! Paper piecing is a very accurate method of block construction that is great to use when you are working with small pieces or at odd angles. Get ready to try a quilt piecing technique in which you stitch your blocks backwards and upside-down and end up with beautifully sewn blocks and a fun quilt.

No Kit Fee! Pattern is included in the price of the class

Sewing Machines will be generously provided for students from BERNINA/ Chestnut Ridge Sewing

Shared Irons, Rotary cutters and mats will be provided.

Other Supplies Needed – please be sure to label all your supplies with your name

Point the Way pattern – provided in class

• Fabric (please refer to cutting instructions in file below

• Straight Pins Scissors/Thread Snips/Seam Ripper (you never know)

• Rotary Cutting Supplies - rulers (small square ruler at least 6” square, longer ruler, at least 12” long if pre-class cutting is not done) – some mats and cutters will be provided in class, but you are welcome and encouraged to bring a small mat and your own cutter. 

• Add-a-Quarter Ruler is suggested and helpful (6” length is fine)

• Cutting Mats – there will be some in the classroom, but you are welcome and encouraged to bring your own Rotary Cutters – there will be some in the classroom, but you are welcome and encouraged to bring your own

• Pen, pencil and paper for taking notes
