[SOLD OUT] Intro to Freemotion Quilting (PA)

Have you always wanted to free-motion quilt but were too anxious to do so? Join Sarah in this hands-on workshop and be liberated with free-motion quilting! With a bit of humor and a lot of encouragement, she will take you through a series of designs to build up your own unique edge-to-edge patterns that are both simple yet highly effective on your quilt tops. Most designs will start as border or sashing motifs and methods to turn them into all-over FMQ will be taught. By the end of the workshop, you will feel more comfortable and brave with a variety of shapes and designs in different sizes. One student per machine: BERNINA Q Series machines provided. The BERNINA Q-Series are sit down longarm machines. They will be provided by BERNINA/ Hinkletown Sewing Center. The Q-series machines are technically "longarm" machines placed onto a stationary tabletop; therefore, this class is ideal for the domestic machine quilter, midarm quilter, and standup longarm quilter.

Additional pre-printed practice fabric panels and notions will be available if you wish to plan ahead
