About the event
Have you always wanted to applique but were afraid to try? Whether you are a new  or experienced quilter, this is a great way to learn some new appliqué skills!  This fun class will teach the basics of the  starch method of applique. Learn how to make freezer paper templates, create  fabric appliqué pieces, and make flower stems. You’ll also learn how to sew  inside and outside points as well as curves and circles. We will be hand  sewing, so reading glasses might be helpful and a light if you need one. No  sewing machine required!
