(SOLD OUT) Collage Techniques

 This class will teach you to make a Laura Heine Collage Quilt

Join us for this fun class to learn the Laura Heine collage technique! You'll want to choose one of your favorite Laura Heine collage patterns. These patterns are a perfect way to use your stash. The Teeny Tiny pattern projects are a great starter, as they are only 16" x 20".  These do use a little  different technique . Not to worry, it's up to you to choose what is best for you.   Most importantly, select a project you love and I will help guide you in the process! If you're choosing one of the Teeny Tiny projects I recommend using a light box as it makes the process a LOT easier.  You'll need a collection of floral fabrics  and such from your stash or shopping trips. You will be able to purchase many of the suggested items needed for this project from Amelia's Garden

Kit can be purchased in class or preordered online and includes: Pattern of your choice, 1 yard of pattern ease, 3 yrds of Steam a Seam (approximate supply/kit cost $79).

Materials Needed: Karen K Buckley scissors, applique pressing mat, fabric glue and possibly more steam a seam.
