(SOLD OUT) Basic Machine Quilting: Freemotion Quilting on the Domestic Sewing Machine

This free motion class will go over the basics of free motion quilting.  You will learn how to set up your machine, how to mark your quilt for quilting, how to do the basic quilting designs such as stipple, loops, curls and leaves.  There will be some drawing, so bring paper and pencil.  

Class requirements:  scissors, contrasting thread, sharpie marker, a 24" x 36" quilt sandwich that is made up of muslin and cotton batting that is sewn down the middle (length and width) and the edges.   

Sewing Machines will be genersouly provided to students by Bernina/ Hinkletown Sewing Center 

Irons, Rotary cutters and mats will be provided.
