(SOLD OUT) A New Take on Dresden Plate-NE Ohio

Join Laura Nolletti for a new take on the Dresden Plate! Using identical pieces of fabric, make a one of a kind Dresden Plate.  Also get new ideas on how to make Dresden Plate blocks with a modern twist. This pattern features a simple assembly and uses Kaffe Fassett fabrics. During the class, you will receive instruction on how to make the block, cut the original fabric (yours will be precut for the class) and written instructions so you can make one a quilt at home.  Laura will also present a simple trunk show of other modern dresden blocks, directions for making some of these including book and pattern references.

Kit Fee $10: students will receive the pre-cut layered fabric to make the blades for one block,  a background fabric, invisible thread for applique (a spool to keep) and a simple turning tool to use (and keep) when making dresden blades.  

Sewing Machines will be generously provided for students from Bernina/ Chestnut Ridge Sewing

 Shared Irons, Rotary cutters and mats will be provided.
