About the event
You have lots of scraps – admit it! You’ve been meaning to make something out of them, but they continue to pile up. In this workshop, Ann will show you how to process your scraps into usable pieces that you will be happy to use in a beautiful quilt. This is not one of those “scrappy” quilts where you have to buy 4 yards of background fabric and add about a cup and a half of scraps. No. These techniques use ONLY scraps. Ann estimates that you will use up to 4-6 yards of fabric that you already have (bought at yesterday’s prices!). In addition, Ann will show you great techniques for transforming your scraps. Scrap-sharing is encouraged!
No Kit Fee
SUPPLIES NEEDED
-rotary cutter and mat
- Neutral thread
- 6” x 12” and/or 6” x 6” rulers
- A big pile of scrap fabric (think grocery bag full)
- iron & ironing mat/ small board
Sewing Machines will be provided by The Sew ' N Place
