About the event
Ruched Flowers and Berries
Ruching is a French term which means "gathering, ruffling, or pleating". Ruched flowers have been used on quilts and garments for at least 200 years. This class will focus on the different tools and techniques that I use to create ruched flowers.
Add dimension to a traditional style red and green applique block. Techniques covered are corded stems, ruched flowers, free-form berries and chain stitch embroidery. Half day. All levels.
