About the event
The traditional Granny Square quilt blocks can be daunting and time consuming to make. In this class, you will construct the blocks using 2 ½” strips (cut your own or use a Jelly Roll), which will allow for a scrappy appearance without having to cut and sew all those individual squares. Using this method yields two blocks for each strip set, so your quilt will come together quickly. The pattern includes two size options, 56” x 66” and 80” x 90”, but the quilt can easily be adjusted to accommodate other sizes.
No Kit Fee! Pattern is included in the price of the class
Sewing Machines will be generously provided for students from Bernina/ Chestnut Ridge Sewing
Shared Irons, Rotary cutters and mats will be provided.
