About the event

Have you always wanted to try a Quiltworx foundation paper pieced quilt? Are you intimidated by the instructions and complexity of Judy Niemeyer’s patterns? Start small with a few 6” Circling Geese units and see if Quiltworx patterns are for you as Julie, an aspiring Quiltworx instructor guides you through the process.

No need to purchase and prep fabrics as you’ll be choosing from an assortment of pre-cut kits to create a 12” block of dizzy geese flying in a circle. Kits will contain foundation papers and fabrics needed for class along with the pattern and even more papers to complete a flock of geese at home. Even if you’ve never foundation paper-pieced before, this small project is the perfect introduction into Judy Niemeyer patterns. So, before you invest in a large pattern and fabrics, try a block of Circling Geese with a pre-cut kit
