Quilting With Bling (PA)

Just like Marilyn sang…Diamonds are a girl’s best friend! Join Sarah and quilt your heart out with sparkly, shiny, and metallic threads. When using these dazzling threads, your quilting transforms with an added layer of interest on your quilt tops. Whether you use them for FMQ, ruler work, or thread painting, you’ll love the effect each sparkly thread brings to your projects. In this class, you’ll be able to try out a variety of threads and learn how needle size, machine tension, and stitch length affect the finished look. By the end of the workshop, you will feel more comfortable and brave with a variety of threads types and ready to bedazzle your future projects! The BERNINA Q-Series are sit down longarm machines. They will be provided by BERNINA/ Hinkletown Sewing Center. The Q-series machines are technically "longarm" machines placed onto a stationary tabletop; therefore, this class is ideal for the domestic machine quilter, midarm quilter, and standup longarm quilter.

Kit Fee- $50 includes thread bundle to keep, needles, fabric, batting, handouts- This fee has been added to your ticket total below.

Additional pre-printed practice fabric panels and notions will be available if you wish to plan ahead
