About the event
Pojagi is an Ancient type of needlework from Korea. I will bring many different pieces for everyone to look at. Typically the pieces are made from either Silk, or Raime (a plant fiber), and were originally used as utilitarian wrapping cloths. Today, Pojagi is an Artwork all its own with designs ranging from simple to intricate. In this class we will make two Projects in the style of Pojagi, a Pincushion in Silk , and a small mat using Korean Raime. All Supplies for both projects are included in the Class Kit. Participants only need to bring general hand sewing supplies, ie – thimble, small scissors, etc.
Kit Fee: $45- has been added to your ticket price below.
Please bring general Hand Sewing tools

-Thimble
-Any other tools that you use at home for hand sewing.
All other supplies needed for the 2 class projects will be ready for you when you are in class!!
