About the event
Let’s take the mystery out of paper piecing! Paper piecing is a very accurate method of block construction that is great to use when you are working with small pieces or at odd angles. Get ready to try a quilt piecing technique in which you stitch your blocks backwards and upside-down and end up with beautifully sewn blocks and a fun quilt.
No Kit Fee! Pattern is included in the price of the class
Sewing Machines will be generously provided for students from Bernina/ Chestnut Ridge Sewing
Shared Irons, Rotary cutters and mats will be provided.
Other Supplies Needed
Point the Way pattern–supplied in class
Thread for piecing –neutral color is fine
Flathead Pins
Scissors/Thread Snips
Seam Ripper (you never know)
Add-a-Quarter Ruler is helpful (6” length is fine)
Rotary Cutting Supplies
-cutter, mat and rulers (small square ruler at least 6” square, longer ruler, at least 12” long if pre-class cutting is not done)
Pen, pencil and paper
