Plays Well with Others-NE Ohio

Do you remember in elementary school when your teacher graded you one your ability to play  well with others? This scrap-friendly quilts gets an A+ in that department because any and all  fabrics work for constructing this quilt! In this workshop, participants will learn the wonderful  process of string piecing on foundation while making this fun and beautiful quilt. The sample  quilt finishes approximately 48” x 58” but you can adjust the size to whatever you want and  the pattern includes a variety of size options. This is a great way to use your scraps, but it  also looks great when you “control” your fabric choices to create a themed quilt!

No Kit Fee! Pattern is included in the price of the class

Sewing Machines will be generously provided for students from Bernina/ Chestnut Ridge Sewing

Shared Irons, Rotary cutters and mats will be provided.

Other Supplies Needed

Plays Well with Others pattern – provided in class

Thread for piecing (this is a great opportunity to use partially filled bobbins)

Pins, Scissors, Seam ripper

Pen, pencil and paper

Rotary Cutting Supplies

-cutter, mat and rulers (small square ruler at least 6” square for trimming is helpful, and a longer one at least 12” long for cutting yardage)
