Pineapple Block [REGISTRATION CLOSED}

With this block, Pineapples are always in season!   A beautiful quilt using contrasting colorways in two colors or scrappy versions.  Accuracy is easy using this method, without paper piecing, having to cut off long strips, or square up  blocks after adding strips. Fast and efficient using chain piecing. In class, learn the tips and techniques to make this block.

Class Supplies Needed:

-Pattern-Pineapple Pizzaz pattern from Marti Michell # 8534

-Pineapple  1“ Finished Strips Template set from Marti Michell  (# 8230) OR

-Pineapple 1 1/4” Finished Strips Template set from Marti Michell  (# 8231)

-2 Fat Quarters-one light and one dark  (pineapple strips) avoid directional fabrics.

-Fat quarter for Accent (center square and corner triangles)

-Rotary Cutter

-6 x24” ruler

-Small 12” square mat or rotating cutting mat (If you do not have one, I will supply one for you, for class)

-Best Press

-Your favorite sewing supplies to include pins, snips, neutral piecing thread, seam ripper.
