Love Links

Love Links is a Modern 180 pattern designed by Running with Scissors Quilters. The "links" are created by assembling traditional flying geese into chevron blocks using two geese in reverse colors. Once the blocks are interlocked, links pop out to create this stunning quilt! This quick and easy quilt can be made in eight different sizes using only the Wing Clipper I. Please note: the fabric requirements and cutting instructions have been changed from the original pattern to reflect the use of the “No Nudge” technique.

Class Supplies Needed: 

• Studio 180 Design Love Links Pattern

• Studio 180 Design Wing Clipper I

• Studio 180 Design Quilters Magic Wand (recommended not required)

• Invisigrip recommended for back of tool

• Fabric Marker

• 6” x 12” and/or 6” x 24” Ruler

• Cutting Mat & Rotary Cutter (with new blade)

• Fabric pre-cut for class – see cutting instructions

• General sewing kit – scissors, pins, seam ripper, etc.

Kit Options:

-Pattern is required- $13

-Wing Clipper 1 ($33) is also required, but as some students may already own this, it is offered as an optional add on.

-A Quilter’s Magic Wand ($9) is suggested but not required.
