[SOLD OUT] Itty Bitty Microquilting (PA)

Add dimension, interest, and personality to your quilt design with micro quilting! Feel the difference between different stitch regulation settings, and experiment with many designs as you stitch miniature in this workshop. From micro stippling, pebbles, radiator coils, and more, Sarah will help you navigate through the many miniature options and also combine average-sized designs with micro quilting to achieve a stunning finished result. Just like handwriting, everyone's micro quilting will have its own unique variations, so there's no wrong way to achieve your micro quilted signature. By the end of class, your pre-printed panel will have your own unique quilted finish combining outlining, micro quilting, and larger motifs. We’ll also discuss and demonstrate how thread can impact and change the appearance of your quilting. One student per machine: BERNINA Q Series machines provided. The BERNINA Q-Series are sit down longarm machines. They will be provided by BERNINA/ Hinkletown Sewing Center. The Q-series machines are technically "longarm" machines placed onto a stationary tabletop; therefore, this class is ideal for the domestic machine quilter, midarm quilter, and standup longarm quilter.
