Introduction to English Paper Piecing

After decades of speedy machine sewing and quick-piecing techniques, come discover the joy of "slow sewing" and the pleasure of portable hand stitching projects! No longer tied to your sewing machine, you can now enjoy stitching in the presence of family and friends or while on the go.

You'll be amazed at how much you can accomplish in your "stolen moments".

This introductory class, a great fit for both beginners and experienced stitchers, will open the door to the world of English Paper Piecing (EPP) and the many different projects that you can complete with this method. Learn how to hand stitch the hexagon and the diamond shapes using the traditional EPP method.

 6 diamond paper shapes

 7 hexagon paper shapes

 2 Wonder Clips

 1 straw/milliner needle, size 9

 1 straw/milliner needle, size 11

 a bobbin of The Bottom Line thread
