Hexie Puzzler Wallhanging

The Hexie Puzzler quilt features 3" kites spiraling to create a six pointed star and alternates with a Hexagon Block. The Color Wheel quilt is made with the same color/ print in the same position, in every star. This makes the results very dramatic. Piecing doesn't require any Y seams and is much easier than the finished quilt makes it appear. Finished piece measures 40” X 47”

Supply List:

-Rotary cutter with sharp blade  

-Rotary ruler 6x24 

-Best Press (not a requirement but highly recommended) 

-Small cutting mat, under 12” square to subcut small pieces (I will supply if you do not have your own) 

-Seam ripper 

-Scissors 

-Pins 

-Piecing thread in neutral color

Fabric Requirements for wall hanging size 40” X 47”

- 6 Fat quarters for 3” Color Wheel Variation 

-Background 7/8 yard 

-Narrow Border 1/4 yard 

-Wide Border and Binding 1 1/8 yard 

-Backing 1 3/8 yard 

-Batting packaged crib quilt size or scraps to make 44” by 50”
