Harnessing the Power of the Chain

Kit Fee: $0 (Quilter’s Rule provides the templates for use in class. Students have the option to purchase the templates for a discount after all classes have been taught at a show)

Supplies needed:

-6-10 fabric sandwiches approximately 10”- 14” square (please do not pin baste sandwiches nor use thick batting)  Using plain fabrics will let you see the quilting patterns better than “busy” fabrics

-Contrasting thread to the fabric sandwiches

-8 point stencil grid or rulers for marking guidelines

-Notebook or artbook (colored pencils might be nice, but not necessary)

Supplies suggested but not necessary:

-A slider to use on the machine table (super slider or Sew Slip)

-Quilting Gloves

Sewing Machines will be generously provided for students from Bernina/ Hinkletown Sewing Center

 Irons, Rotary cutters and mats will be provided.
