Half Square Triangle Basics (REGISTRATION CLOSED)

The Half Square Triangle (HST) Basics class walks students through the steps of assembling four different sizes of HSTs, which are the building blocks for the Vertex quilt pattern. This class is excellent for someone who is a beginner and wants to level up their piecing skills!

Additional Supplies the student will need:

• Triangles: 12 Fat Quarters
• Background: 3 ¼ yards
• Fabric can be pre-cut according to the Vertex pattern, or at least 2 squares per size cut for class
• HST trimming tool such as the June Tailor Perfect HST Ruler (available for sale in class), square rulers of various sizes, or Bloc Locs
• Fabric marking pen
• 24” ruler
