Creating Feather Motifs (PA)

Join Sarah in this fun free motion class where you're placing FMQ feathers into geometrical wreaths, bursting boughs, and multi-directional spines. With a handful of feather plume types to incorporate and basic guidelines for perfecting feather placement, you'll be ready to create a gamut of designs on your future projects. This workshop will have you both drawing and quilting on the machine to determine your personal feather style as well as learning various techniques to create feather motifs. The BERNINA Q-Series are sit down longarm machines. They will be provided by BERNINA/ Hinkletown Sewing Center. The Q-series machines are technically "longarm" machines placed onto a stationary tabletop; therefore, this class is ideal for the domestic machine quilter, midarm quilter, and standup longarm quilter.

Kit Fee- $30 includes thread, fabric, batting, handouts, ruler use- This fee has been added to your ticket total below.

Additional pre-printed practice fabric panels and notions will be available if you wish to plan ahead
