Peaky and Spike Blocks [REGISTRATION CLOSED]

Peaky and Spike make pinwheels fun and easy!  Using this Multi-Sized Tool, we can make this fun  wall hanging out of a layer cake! Learn the  techniques for cutting, piecing and pressing for  pinwheels. Also learn how to use Peaky and Spike  to make the fun pieced Spike border and Kite  border corners. 

 Included in class, learn about some other cutting  options using Peaky and Spike to create Spinning  Peaks, Rock Garden and Twinkling Stars blocks.  

While this project can be done in multiple sizes,  in class we will do the 6”finished block. 

Class Supplies Needed: 

Pattern will be provided in class 

Marti Michell Peaky and Spike Multi-Sized Template  Set (#8289)  

Layer Cake or 42 - 10” Squares 

6 x 12” ruler 

Rotary Cutter 

Small 12” square mat or rotating cutting mat (If you  do not have one, I will supply one for you, for class)

Your favorite sewing supplies to include pins, snips,  neutral piecing thread, seam ripper.
