Hunters Star (SOLD OUT)

If you think Hunters Star is too difficult, then you are in for a pleasant surprise with this method. Perfect 45 degree diamond Eight-Pointed Stars without set in seams! You will find how easy and accurate the cutting techniques are for making this quilt. Let everyone "think" it was difficult. We know how easy it is! While this project can be done in multiple sizes, in class we will do the 17 5/8" finished block.

Supplies Needed:

-Pattern- Hunter's Star from Marti Michell (#8526)

-2 1/2" Strippers Template Set from Marti Michell (#8059, Diamond S-3)

-Diagonal Set Triangle Ruler #8967 from Marti Michell (recommended but not required)

-A light and dark fat quarter for each block you wish to make (the finished block is 17 5/8")

-Rotary Cutter

-6" x 24" ruler

-Small 12" Square mat of rotating cutting mat.

-Best Press

-Your favorite sewing supplies to include pins, snips, neutral piecing thread, seam ripper.
